Performative Media (Final Project) Performative Media ( Final Project) LI YUHAN / 0379857 Sonic Design / Bachelor of  interactive spatial design Week 10 This week we finally started working on the physical components of our final project! After group discussions, we realized our world-building needed more grounding, so we decided to refine the story setting first. My main task is sketching—turning the wild ideas from our discussions into tangible, visual concepts. We also need to smooth out the visuals in TouchDesigner. During our previous demo, Mr. Max mentioned the particles felt a bit choppy, the background was too busy, and the magic effects weren't clear. So after much experimentation this week, we settled on a pure black background to make particle trails and lighting more pronounced.  Mr.Max gave us some advide We also added a subtle background melody—like fairies gently plucking a harp—which softened the overall atmosphere considerably. Honestly, though, the thought of...

Interactive Design Final Project  21 November 2025 - 11January 2025 LI YUHAN (0379857) In Project 2 of the course, I designed a warm and elegant web interface for Bean Depart coffee shop using Figma. As the final assignment, I needed to bring this design to life through coding. After diligent work, I successfully completed this project in VSCode and now wish to share this journey from design to code. 1. Project Overview and Technology Selection This project is a brand website that integrates display, interaction, and information acquisition functions into a cohesive digital platform. The core pages include Homepage, Product Showcase, Service Menu, Brand Story, Customer Testimonials, and Contact Us. Each page serves a distinct purpose while maintaining visual and functional consistency throughout the entire website experience. Technically, I chose to use a pure native technology stack consisting of HTML5, CSS3, and Vanilla JavaScript, deliberately avoiding any frameworks or librarie...

Sonic Design:Final Project 5/12/2024 - 5/1/2025 (Week15 - Week 17)  LI YUHAN / 0379857 For the final project of our "Sound Design" course, our core task was to reconstruct all the sound effects for a silent game video. This was a complete build from the ground up, covering environmental atmosphere, character actions, and various interactive sounds. Project Planning and Professional Recording After understanding the project requirements at the beginning of the semester, I began planning. In week eleven, having selected the first vedio as my source material, I promptly booked the school's recording studio, hoping to complete the core sound effects in a professional environment. On Monday morning, I entered the recording studio with two classmates and began working under the full guidance of our instructor, Mr. Razif. Thanks to the professional equipment and environment, we efficiently recorded a large number of dialogue lines, routine action sounds, and material interaction...

Sonic Design:Project 2 21/10/2024 - 8/12/2024 (Week 9 - Week 11) LI YUHAN (0379857) Link to GoogleDrive Files    This is a classic fairy tale familiar to everyone: The Frog Prince. In the story, the frog helps the princess retrieve her beloved golden ball, and they become friends. In the end, they marry happily. However, due to time constraints, my project couldn't cover the entire story. After consulting Mr. RAZIF, he suggested I focus on a 3-minute segment and leave the story unfinished. So that's what I did for this project. The story begins with the little princess receiving the golden ball and continues through the frog prince helping her retrieve it, but it doesn't reach the final scene where they become friends.    Thus, the main characters in my excerpted story are the princess and the prince-turned-frog. Since the story describes the little princess as a cute, clever, and quick-witted girl, I deliberately used a higher-pitched voice for her during recording ...
