Advanced Interactive Design(Exercise&Weekly Learning)

Weekly Learning Week 1 The final project for this semester is to create a thematic interactive website (microsite) around a specific concept, engaging users through interactive exploration. In class, Mr. Shamsul showed us some FWA examples, which gave me a clearer idea of what a microsite can look like. Our current tasks are to install Adobe Animate and prepare three ideas for the Task 1 proposal. I’ve come up with the following three directions. Week 2  This week was a public holiday, so there were no classes. I used the time to review last week’s proposal and started visualising the style and character for exercise 1. Week 3 This week’s class focused on Adobe Animate. We learned the interface, core drawing tools, and the importance of “Object Drawing Mode”. For web compatibility, we must select “HTML5 Canvas” when creating a new document, and set the frame rate to 24–25 fps. I laernt in class: ·Beach ball: using Object Drawing mode to draw circles, duplicate and scale, split with...

Week 1  The final project for this semester is to create a thematic interactive website (microsite) around a specific concept, engaging users through interactive exploration. In class, Mr. Shamsul showed us some FWA examples, which gave me a clearer idea of what a microsite can look like. Our current tasks are to install Adobe Animate and prepare three ideas for the Task 1 proposal. I’ve come up with the following three directions. MLO 1: 1. About a Puppy I have a puppy myself, so I’d like to create a small scene set in a corner of a home, featuring my puppy as the main character. Items such as a food bowl, a leash, and a chew toy are scattered around. When the user clicks on different objects, the puppy responds accordingly: clicking the bowl makes the puppy come to eat; clicking the leash makes it spin excitedly. Behind each interaction, there is a simple piece of dog‑care knowledge (e.g., suggested daily walking time). The overall style is warm and hand‑drawn, aiming to resonate...

Advanced Modeling and Animation(Final Project) 7 October2025- 22 October 2025 LI YUHAN (0379857) Week 10 I sketched out a rough draft of the environment and began modeling it in Blender. My vision was for a more stylized, curved environment overall, since the two rides I designed in Project 2 were also quite abstract. I aimed to give the entire piece a cyberpunk + sci-fi aesthetic. The modeling process went smoothly; I completed it step by step using the Blender skills I had learned previously. Then I went to Bilibili to search for how to create a plush material and set up the material following the tutorial steps. Week 11 However, when it came to adjusting the materials in UE, I found it quite challenging—it's an area I'm not particularly skilled in. With my classmates' help, I finally managed to finish adjusting the materials and lighting. During class, I showed Mr. Duriraju my progress. He suggested brightening the ambient lighting since the installation was hard to see ...

Performative Media (Final Project) Performative Media ( Final Project) LI YUHAN / 0379857 Sonic Design / Bachelor of  interactive spatial design Week 10 This week we finally started working on the physical components of our final project! After group discussions, we realized our world-building needed more grounding, so we decided to refine the story setting first. My main task is sketching—turning the wild ideas from our discussions into tangible, visual concepts. We also need to smooth out the visuals in TouchDesigner. During our previous demo, Mr. Max mentioned the particles felt a bit choppy, the background was too busy, and the magic effects weren't clear. So after much experimentation this week, we settled on a pure black background to make particle trails and lighting more pronounced.  Mr.Max gave us some advide We also added a subtle background melody—like fairies gently plucking a harp—which softened the overall atmosphere considerably. Honestly, though, the thought of...
