Sonic Design:Weekly Learning WEEK1-WEEK14 LI YUHAN (0379857) Week 1 At the beginning of the course, Mr. Razif outlined the learning blueprint for the entire semester in sonic design. The core tasks were clearly divided into four progressive stages: from understanding sound fundamentals, to creating auditory images, then producing audio narratives via audiobooks, and finally culminating in dubbing a silent film and compiling an e-portfolio. The most memorable part was the initial "sound meditation" session—when those seemingly ordinary daily sounds reverberated in the quiet classroom, they ceased to be background noise and instead became keys unlocking floodgates of memory. This direct sensory experience revealed the emotional and narrative potential of sound more vividly than any theoretical explanation could. Game Development Exercise 1: Geme idea 26 September 2025- 3 October 2025 LI YUHAN (0379857) My game is called <<The Shadow Formula>>. Through its light-and-shadow puzzle mechanics, I aim to take players on an emotional journey about misunderstanding and reconciliation. It's not your typical platformer. Players don't directly control the character. Instead, they must manipulate a light source to cast shadows that pave the way forward. As levels progressively unfold, a hidden secret gradually comes to light. In the final level, players no longer jump but instead use light to "witness" their mother's sacrifices.
